The trade complex of Turkmenistan is working on the advancement of competitiveness of the national workforce, paying special attention to the individual as the main factor of intelligent economic growth and national competitiveness, diversifying the exports and increasing the quantity of high value goods, reducing the import proportion in the state economy through strengthening trade capacities. 

The trade and industry sector of Turkmenistan is cooperating with a number of world unions. About 80 percent of enterprises working in the textile industry are exporting more than 55 percent of their goods. The “Turkmenhaly” (Turkmen carpet) union of Turkmenistan has strong standing on the international level. 

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan is the main entity of the country regulating the export and import transactions of our country. The ISO and HACCP international certificates received by the enterprises of our country serve as a proof of the high quality of foodstuffs and industrial goods produced.
