The cultural sector of Turkmenistan aims to implement the cultural policy of the state, advance culture and art at the international level, explore the nonmaterial heritage and preserve it, authorize the activities of cultural scope, carry on the international cultural relations, coordinate the touristic activities and successfully implement the comprehensive cultural programs. 

The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, as well as the Days of Culture of friendly countries in our state are taking place successfully. The activities of such scope help to strengthen the mutual cultural cooperation with world countries, and fortify the principles of friendship and fraternity based on the Neutrality status of our state.
