The work of the economy, finance and banking sectors of Turkmenistan is aimed at the development of state budget, analysis of the economy and forecasts, attraction of the investments, improvement of the state finance and financial markets, carrying on the insurance and auditing services, supervising the state financial system, as well as implementing the policies on the performance of internal and external financial transactions. 

Based on the peace-loving policy of the President of Turkmenistan which is focused on the well-being of people and in the framework of wide international cooperation, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan is strengthening efficient relations with the United Nations and its agencies, such as the World Labour Organization, Development Programme, UNICEF, UNFPA and others.
