An international webinar on the theme “Akhal-Teke horses – glory for centuries and millennia” was held in France and Austria

On July 8, 2020, the Embassies of Turkmenistan in France and Austria jointly organized an international webinar on the theme "Akhal-Teke horses - glory for centuries and millennia." Also, the Akhal-Teke Association of France and the Turkmen-Austrian Society acted as co-organizers of the above event.

The diplomatic missions of our country in Paris and Vienna timed this international webinar with the celebrations this year of the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality.

The international webinar dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality and the Akhal-Teke horses was attended by the representatives of the ministries and departments of France and Austria, amateurs and fans of Akhal-Teke horses from such countries as France, Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary, Czech Republic and Romania, as well as representatives the public and the media.

Speakers included the Director General of the French Institute of horse riding and horse-breeding under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of France, Mr. Jean-Roche Galle, the head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society, Ms. Neda Berger, and the President of the Hungarian Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding, Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan, Mr. Nyeki Iozhef Gyula, who congratulated President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the entire Turkmen people on the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.

The participants of the international webinar, emphasizing the unique beauty of the Akhal-Teke horses, expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the attention given to improving the best horse-breeding traditions of the Turkmen people and creating opportunities to popularize the Akhal-Teke horses around the world.
