The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania organized a round table in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan
On May 30, 2020, as part of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the status of permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania organized a round table and presentation of prizes to the winners of the drawing contest among Turkmen students in Romania, dedicated to this significant event.
In his speech, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Romania, emphasizing the importance of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan, informed about the events and celebrations held on December 11-12, 2020, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Neutrality of Turkmenistan and the initiative of Turkmenistan, as a result of which the United Nations Organization announced December 12 – as International Day of Neutrality.
In their speeches, students, expressing gratitude to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the tireless care and attention given to Turkmen youth, as well as for creating conditions of peace, prosperity and well-being for the future generation, noted the success of Turkmenistan’s Neutral status in the international arena.
In conclusion of the event, the participants were shown videos on the achievements of Turkmenistan over 25 years of Neutrality in ensuring security and peace.
Further, the Embassy organized a ceremony of presenting letters and valuable gifts to the winners of the drawing contest announced by the Embassy among Turkmen students studying in Romania, dedicated to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the status of permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan.
