Under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, the agroindustrial complex of the country attained high achievements
One of the priority spheres of the state policy of Turkmenistan is the improvement of the agroindustrial complex of the country. The agriculture consistently develops and the work on the environment protection including the programmes and projects aimed at the ecological security continues in the country. In current year, Turkmenistan widely celebrates the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of the country. In honor of this historic date, a special publication is published in the country dedicated to the results of the activities of the agroindustrial complex.
As it is known, the main objectives of the state policy pursued by the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan are aimed at increasing the production of agricultural products, strengthening the economic power of the country, improving housing and living conditions of the population. Activities aimed at modernizing and further developing of the agricultural sector of the country, generating an abundance of agricultural products and import substitution, as well as ensuring the food security are widely implemented in the country. Special attention is paid to the application of best practices, modern technologies and scientific agrarian solutions in the production process.
All of this, including the massive work carried out in the country for rich yields, rational use of land and water resources, protection and enrichment of nature are described in the abovementioned edition. It consists of such parts as the “Ministry of Agriculture and Environment Protection of Turkmenistan,” “The State Committee of Water Economy of Turkmenistan,” and “Turkmen atlary” State Association.”
The work carried out by the provincial grain production associations, cotton production associations, animal breeding farms, the State Veterinary Service, the State Quarantine Service, the State Service of Seed, the Plant Protection Service, the Environmental Protection Service, as well as the Land Resources Service is also fully described in the given edition.
