Briefing dedicated to the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan held in Ankara
On February 5, 2020, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Turkey held a briefing for the mass media and local community on the events taking place in Turkmenistan and in foreign countries in 2020 in connection with the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, as well as the announcement of the year 2020 as “Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality.”
The Senior Advisor to the President of Turkey Yalchin Topchu, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, as well as the representatives of foreign states and international organizations accredited in Ankara, a number of deputies of the Parliament of Turkey and the executives of the International Relations Department of the Turkish State Agency for Television and Radiobroadcasting (TRT), “Anadolu Ajansy,” “Dünya” newspaper’s and representatives of various mass media participated to the briefing.
In the beginning of the briefing, the videos on the achievements of Turkmenistan were demonstrated to the participants.
During the briefing, the history and significance of the Neutrality policy of our country, its role in strengthening of international and regional stability, as well as the cooperation of Turkmenistan with specialized agencies of the UN in sustaining world peace and stable development were voiced.
An exhibition presenting the works of our Esteemed President and cultural values was held in the course of the event.
