Representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS countries discussed the opportunities of developing cooperation in the area of business
On the 9th of June 2021, a Conference of the heads and representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Commonwealth of Independent States’ countries was held under the subject of “Conditions for the Development and Enhancement of Business”.
The given event was organized in the framework of the National Programme on conducting the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence and the 25th anniversary of Neutrality of Turkmenistan, as well as in honor of proclaiming the year 2021 in the country as “Turkmenistan – Homeland of Peace and Trust”.
The Conference has united around 30 heads and representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the CIS countries, that is the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The organizer of the Conference was the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The participants of the event discussed the methods for strengthening cooperation in the area of conducting the business activity on the CIS space, including the creation of pleasant investment conditions, simplification of commercial rules and procedures.
A constructive exchange of views took place on the enhancement of mutual trade and collaboration, including the areas of industry, energy, transport, finances and others.
