The Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Turkey held a briefing dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan
On May 5, 2021, the Embassy of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Turkey has held via videoconferencing a briefing timed to the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence and announcement of 2021 as the year of “Turkmenistan – Homeland of Peace and Trust”.
The event was attended by the representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Ankara, Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Economic Cooperation Organization Adem Kula, the head of Turkmen-Turkish Business Council Halil Avjy, the heads of a number of Turkish companies, representatives of the local media and officers of the Embassy of Turkmenistan.
During a briefing held in the videoconferencing format, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Turkey briefed the participants about the events which are planned to be held in honor of the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence and announcement of 2021 as the year of “Turkmenistan – Homeland of Peace and Trust”, as well as about the country’s achievements during Independence years in political, economic, scientific-cultural and other fields.
The participants of the online-briefing in their speeches extended their congratulations on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence and noted the tremendous changes and huge achievements of the country in different spheres, carried out under the wise leadership of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The speakers also underlined the importance of the cooperative relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey and discussed the issues of their further development.
