Turkmen-Japanese business forum, devoted to trade-investment potential was held in online format
On February 15-26, 2021, the Embassy of Turkmenistan to Japan in collaboration with “ROTOBO” Trade Association of Japan organized virtual exhibition of Central Asian countries (CAVEX).
The International online exhibition was attended from Turkmen side by the representatives of relevant ministries, agencies and private companies.
Turkmen-Japanese online business forum, dedicated to trade-investment potential, was organized within the framework of online exhibition on the 19th of February, 2021.
From Turkmen side the online business forum was attended by the representatives of different ministries and agencies as well as the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. From Japanese side, the Chirman of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation, President of “ITOCHU Corporation” Tsubai Hiroyuki, heads of “ROTOBO” Trade Association, representatives of JETRO” Trade Organization, as well as about 50 Japanese companies participated to the forum.
The sides discussed broad opportunities of Turkmenistan in enhancing cooperation in the fields of trade and investments, export and import, as well as the issues of attraction of Japanese companies to Turkmen market, and the questions of development of cooperation between the entrepreneurs of the two countries.
