Round table between the institutes of higher education of Turkmenistan and Romania in honor of the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan

On the 4th of November 2020, a roundtable took place through videoconferencing between the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies dedicated to the 25th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.  The round table was organized in assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania.    

The round table was attended by the faculty of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management and the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.

In their speeches, the representatives of the Turkmen side thoroughly informed their Romanian colleagues about the role and importance of the neutral status in the process of strengthening humanitarian relations, development of the education system and sustainable economic growth of the neutral Turkmenistan.  They also highly appraised the level of Turkmen-Romanian relations on a wide range.   

The representatives of Romania also underlined the importance of longstanding cooperation with Turkmenistan, particularly in the area of trade, education, science and culture.  They noted the importance of the positive neutrality policy of Turkmenistan carried out by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.  It was emphasized that Turkmenistan plays a vital role in maintaining regional security, stability and sustainable development.
